# ABM ad program from an intent segment: pick in-market accounts, then build the program

Source: https://mcpforgtm.com/recipes/abm-program-from-intent (StackMCP, independent directory of official MCP servers)

## Goal

ABM and demand marketers who want to turn a 6sense segment into a targeted Influ2 program for the accounts showing the most intent, and review the credit estimate before anything is built. 6sense can be swapped for Demandbase or Warmly.

## Connected tools

- 6sense: https://api.6sense.com/mcp (setup: https://mcpforgtm.com/tools/6sense)
- Influ2: https://mcp.influ2.com/mcp (setup: https://mcpforgtm.com/tools/influ2)

## Guardrails

- Use account-level insights in 6sense only. Don't unlock any contacts.
- Show me the shortlist with the signals behind each account before drafting a program.
- Build an Influ2 program only after I approve the draft, and confirm Influ2's preview only after I approve the estimated reach and credit use.
- Don't launch, resume or edit any other Influ2 program.

## Steps

1. Use 6sense segment discovery to find my segment {segment name}, or the segments that best match {ICP description}. Show me each segment's name, account count and what it's based on. Don't unlock any contacts.
2. For the accounts in {segment name}, pull account insights: 6QA trend, keyword intent, and website activity in the last 30 days. Rank the top {number} most in-market and show me a table with the signals behind each. Don't unlock any contacts.
3. In Influ2, list my existing ABM programs and check whether any shortlisted account is already in one. Then look at my content library and creative performance, and suggest 2 creatives for this audience. Don't change anything.
4. Draft a new Influ2 program for the accounts I approve: name, audience, journey stages and creatives. Build it in Influ2 only after I approve the draft, then show me Influ2's preview with estimated reach and credit use. Confirm it only after I approve that preview, and don't launch or resume anything.

## Expected output

Shortlist of in-market accounts and the program draft waiting for approval. Example (all names fictional):

```
Segment: 'Mid-market logistics, 200-2,000 employees' (6sense), 148 accounts
Top 5 in-market accounts
1. Larkspur Freightworks (fictional): 6QA since Sep 22, rising intent on 'route optimization software', 14 website visits in 30 days (pricing page twice)
2. Tidewater Haulage (fictional): 6QA since Oct 3, intent on 'fleet telematics', 6 visits
3. Pinecrest Cargo (fictional): not 6QA yet, intent on 'freight audit', 9 visits
4. Brackenridge Logistics (fictional): 6QA since Aug 30, intent flat for 3 weeks, 2 visits
5. Sorrel Bay Shipping (fictional): intent on 'route optimization software', 0 visits
Already in an Influ2 program: Brackenridge Logistics, in 'Q3 Logistics Pilot'. Suggest leaving it out.
Influ2 program draft (not built):
Name: Q4 Logistics In-Market
Audience: accounts 1, 2, 3 and 5
Stages: Awareness (2 weeks), Consideration (3 weeks)
Creatives: 'Route cost calculator' and 'Freight audit case study' from the content library, highest-performing in Q3
Reply 'build' to have Influ2 prepare its preview with estimated reach and credit use. Nothing is confirmed or launched until you approve that preview.
```

## Watch for

- Intent that isn't really buying intent: Keyword intent on a broad topic can come from research or hiring. Require at least two signals per account (for example 6QA trend plus website activity) and show which ones each account has.
- Accounts already in another program: The same account in two programs splits budget and repeats ads. Check existing Influ2 programs for every shortlisted account and leave out any overlap unless you decide otherwise.
- A credit estimate bigger than you expected: Read Influ2's preview before confirming. If the estimated credit use is higher than planned, cut the audience or the reach and ask for a new preview.
- Contacts unlocked by accident: 6sense's contact unlock uses your Sales Intelligence credits, and this recipe doesn't need contacts. Keep this recipe to account-level insights, and say 'don't unlock contacts' in the prompt.
