# New territory ramp pack: inherited accounts, recent conversations and who has left

Source: https://mcpforgtm.com/recipes/territory-ramp-pack (StackMCP, independent directory of official MCP servers)

## Goal

AEs and CSMs who inherit a book of accounts and want a page per account before their first customer calls: where it stands, what was said recently, and which contacts have moved on. Salesforce can be swapped for HubSpot or Attio, Gong for Granola or Fireflies, and LeadIQ for UserGems.

## Connected tools

- Salesforce: https://api.salesforce.com/platform/mcp/v1/platform/sobject-all (setup: https://mcpforgtm.com/tools/salesforce)
- Gong: https://mcp.gong.io/mcp (setup: https://mcpforgtm.com/tools/gong)
- LeadIQ: https://mcp.leadiq.com/mcp (setup: https://mcpforgtm.com/tools/leadiq)
- Notion: https://mcp.notion.com/mcp (setup: https://mcpforgtm.com/tools/notion)

## Guardrails

- Read only until I approve. Don't change any Salesforce record, and don't use LeadIQ to export or update Salesforce records.
- Check my LeadIQ credits first. Run Gong and LeadIQ only on the accounts I pick, and tell me how many calls each step makes first.
- Use ask_account for Gong. Use generate_brief only if I ask for it.
- Gong returns summaries, not quotes. Label them as Gong summaries.
- Show me every page before creating it in Notion, and create pages only after I approve them.

## Steps

1. Use SOQL in Salesforce to find accounts where the owner is {me} or {previous_owner}. For each, show me type, ARR or open pipeline, renewal or close date, open opportunities with stage and next step, last activity date and number of contacts. Don't change any records.
2. I'll pick up to {n} accounts from that table. Tell me how many Gong calls that will be, then after I approve it, use Gong ask_account once per account to summarize the last {days} days: main topics, open questions and anything the buyer asked us for. Say when Gong finds no calls.
3. Check my LeadIQ credits. Then show me job changes for the tracked contacts at the picked accounts: name, old company, new company and new title. For contacts LeadIQ isn't tracking, tell me how many profile lookups it would take, and run them only after I approve it.
4. Draft a ramp pack: one parent page with the account table, and one page per picked account with the Salesforce summary, the Gong summary, contacts still there and contacts who left. Show me the text, and create the pages in Notion under {parent_page} only after I approve it.

## Expected output

Ramp pack draft: 3 of 18 inherited accounts. Example (all names fictional):

```
Inherited from Alex Rivera: 18 accounts. Gong and LeadIQ run on the 6 you picked.
Fernhill Software (fictional). Customer since 2024, renewal Mar 1, $64,000 ARR
- Open opportunity: add-on for the support team, Discovery, $9,000
- Gong summary (last 90 days): 4 calls. Main topics were onboarding a new region and a slow SSO rollout. The buyer asked twice about a price hold for the renewal.
- Contacts: Priya Raman (VP Ops, still there). Sam Whitlock (admin, left: now at Tidewell Robotics (fictional)).
Quarry Lane Analytics (fictional). Prospect, last activity Jul 2
- Open opportunity: none. One closed-lost in June, reason 'timing'.
- Gong summary: 1 call in the period, a discovery call with Dana Okafor. No follow-up recorded.
- Contacts: Dana Okafor (still there).
Mossgate Labs (fictional). Customer, renewal Nov 30, $21,000 ARR
- Gong: no calls found for this account. Check with Alex before your first call.
- Contacts: 3 of 4 tracked contacts left in the last 6 months. Single-threaded risk.
LeadIQ: 9 contacts checked, 2 job changes. Profile lookups used for 4 untracked contacts after approval.
Waiting for approval: create 'Ramp pack' with one child page per account under 'My territory' in Notion. Nothing has been created yet.
```

## Watch for

- Credits spent on accounts you won't work: Gong and LeadIQ both use credits. Show the full Salesforce table first, ask me to pick accounts, and state how many Gong calls and LeadIQ lookups the next step will make before running it.
- 'No calls' read as 'no relationship': Gong excludes private calls. Write 'no calls found in Gong' rather than 'no contact', and check Salesforce activities for the same account.
- A contact marked as left who only changed title: Compare the old and new company, and only mark someone as left when the company changed. Keep title changes in a separate column.
- The wrong set of accounts: Inherited accounts may not all be reassigned yet. Confirm the owner filter and the account count with your manager before running Gong or LeadIQ.
