Intent-ranked weekly account list: each rep's top accounts with the evidence
6sense + HubSpot
Who it's for
SDRs who want to start the week knowing which of their accounts are researching now, and sales leaders who want every rep working from the same evidence. 6sense can be swapped for Demandbase, and HubSpot for Salesforce, Attio or Pipedrive.
What you get
One rep's ranked list for the week. Sample output: every company and person in it is fictional.
Week of Oct 19. Owner: Priya Raman (fictional). 5 of her 23 target accounts show a change. 1. Quarry Lane Analytics (fictional): moved to 6QA this week. Intent on 'revenue forecasting software' and 'pipeline analytics' up over the last 4 weeks. Website activity on the pricing page. 2. Larkspur Freightworks (fictional): new intent on 'carrier data integration' and one of our competitor keywords. Not a 6QA yet. 3. Mossgate Labs (fictional): steady intent on 2 of our keywords for 3 weeks running. No website visits. 4. Fernhill Software (fictional): 6QA last month, quiet since. Worth a check-in, not a priority. 5. Bramblecote Health (fictional): first sign of intent, one keyword only. Watch list. No contacts were unlocked and nothing was changed in HubSpot. --- Run summary: 61 target accounts read, 58 matched to a HubSpot company owner. 3 accounts had no HubSpot match (listed separately). 1 matched account has no owner. Reply 'show unmatched' or 'next rep'.
Time and cost
Estimate About 10–15 minutes a week, most of it checking the evidence.
Assumptions: One weekly run over about 60 target accounts split across 3 reps, with no contact unlocks.
- 6sense: Reads only: account insights, keyword intent and 6QA trends for each target account. No contact unlocks unless you approve one. Some tools use credits. Contact unlock uses the user's existing Sales Intelligence credits; other documented capabilities are retrieval only and docs don't describe a credit charge for them. Source: support.6sense.com, checked 2026-10-16
- HubSpot: Reads only: one company search per account to find its record and owner. Credit use not confirmed by HubSpot.
Exact credit costs depend on your plan with each vendor. Check the tool pages before a large run.

Auth setup and mcp.json for Claude Code and Cursor
- 6sense: Sign in with OAuth in your client (run
/mcpin Claude Code). Do it once interactively, and the client stores and refreshes the token. - HubSpot: Sign in with OAuth in your client (run

Put this in .mcp.json (Claude Code, project root) or ~/.cursor/mcp.json (Cursor). Swap the example keys for your own, and don't commit real ones. Remove the // comment lines if your client requires strict JSON.

Step-by-step prompts
- For my target accounts in {segment}, pull 6sense account insights, keyword intent and 6QA trends. Show me a table with each account, its domain, any 6QA change in the last {weeks} weeks, and the top intent keywords. Don't unlock any contacts.
- Find each account in HubSpot by website domain and add its company owner to the table. List any account with no exact HubSpot match, or no owner, separately. Don't change any records.
- Rank each owner's accounts by how much changed this week: new 6QA first, then rising keyword intent, then website activity. For each account give one line of evidence from 6sense. Drop accounts with no change.
- Write one short list per rep, top {n} accounts each, with the evidence line. Show me all the lists. Don't send them anywhere.
Run it on a schedule (optional)
- Run it on Monday morning so reps have the list before they plan the week.
- In a scheduled run, read and rank only. Don't unlock contacts, and have the lists sent to you for review before they go to reps.
- 6sense uses per-user OAuth, so connect as the person whose access the run should use. Test one manual run first, and check the account count against 6sense.
Where this goes wrong
- Accounts matched to the wrong HubSpot company. Similar names and subsidiaries match loosely. Match on website domain, not company name, and list any account without an exact domain match instead of guessing.
- A ranking with no evidence behind it. The model may rank an account high from a vague summary. Require each account to list the specific keywords, 6QA change or website activity it was ranked on, and drop any account that has none.
- Credits spent without anyone asking. 6sense contact unlock spends Sales Intelligence credits. Keep the guardrail that says no unlocks, and if you do want contacts, approve each unlock by name.
- Old intent shown as new. An account that was a 6QA last month still looks hot in a summary. Ask for what changed this week compared with last, and check one account against 6sense directly.
Gotchas
- The 6sense MCP is still governed by beta enrollment, and an admin has to turn on the AI and MCP setting, which is off by default.
- Your organization needs 6sense Revenue Marketing, and the sales-focused capabilities need Sales Intelligence. Each user authorizes separately.
- 6sense contact unlock uses your existing Sales Intelligence credits. The rest of this recipe is retrieval only.
- HubSpot only returns companies the connected user can see, and non-admin users need a Super Admin to approve the connector first.
